The unique flavour of indie auteur Jarmusch is all over this one. But, with a bit more of a self-indulgent drive, the systematic thriller tells the tale of a quietly driven man on a mission – but can become a little tedious with its repetitive cycles. At a designated European location he meets a series of odd people (who seem to have escaped from a David Lynch movie), passing and swapping written messages, all leading to a mysterious conclusion.

More of a mood than a movie, this is not for you if you're keen on a fast paced action flick or side-splitting comedy.
